Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8E ED AF-S VR Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM - Nikon Nikon D500

The Nikon 24-70mm zoom now features Vibration Reduction image stabilization, Nikon's AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens is a  versatile wide-angle to short telephoto lens characterized by its constant f/2.8 maximum aperture. A revised optical design incorporates a unique aspherical extra-low dispersion element, in addition to three aspherical, two extra-low dispersion, and one high refractive index elements, to help reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the zoom range in order to achieve high image sharpness and clarity. The Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings further benefit image quality by reducing lens flare for improved contrast and color accuracy and fluorine coatings on the front and rear elements protect against dust, moisture, and smudging.

Complementing the imaging capabilities, a Silent Wave Motor AF system produces quick, quiet focusing performance that suits both stills shooting and movie recording which can instantly be manually overridden by simply turning the manual focus ring. VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization compensates for the effects of camera shake by up to four shutter speed stops.

The Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM is a unique lens in the photo industry. It includes a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM), an Optical Stabilizer, Inner Focusing and Zooming System, SLD and FLD Glass Elements (FLD has a performance equal to fluorite). The HSM ensures quiet, high speed, accurate autofocusing while the OS allows for use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower than would otherwise be possible. Super Multi-Layer coating reduces flare and ghosting working together with the SLD and FLD glass elements for maximum correction of chromatic aberrations. An inner focusing and zooming system produces sharper images throughout the entire zoom range. With a large fixed aperture of F2.8 the 120-300 is capable of handling any lighting scenario.

Please note that this is a large lens!  It weighs nearly 7 pounds.  It can be used hand held but we recommend the use of a tripod or monopod.

This lens will not work with Nikon teleconverters.  If you want to extend your reach just a bit further, We also have the Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter available.

Sigma 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM SLD for Nikon Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 - Nikon F
Designed for use with full frame digital SLR cameras. May also be used with smaller APS-c size sensors with a corresponding effective increase in focal length to about 75 to 750mm with most cameras.  HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) ensures a quiet & high-speed auto focus.  Sigma’s APO 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM is an advanced optical design of this 10x power high-performance zoom lens that covers the standard-to-super-telephoto range, now with the added advantage of Sigma’s own Optical Stabilization which offers the use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower than would otherwise be possible.

This is a great (but large) “all-in-one” lens.  Especially for nature photographers, the idea of a lens suitable for landscape photography at the short end of the zoom range, while still having enough reach for wildlife is a great option.  Add to that, the ability to close focus on small objects in the field, such as flowers, and it’s the perfect backpacker's lens.
The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Lens features an innovative Vibration Reduction (VR) system that allows handheld telephoto zoom shooting even in poorly lit conditions. The VR system minimizes image blur caused by camera shake, and offers the equivalent of shooting at a shutter speed 4 stops faster than what the camera is set for.

This is the perfect lens for low-light, sports, fashion, portraits and other images that require distance between the photographer and subject.
A popular telephoto zoom for a variety of shooting applications, this Nikon F-mount SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 Lens from Tamron is characterized by its bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture, as well as sophisticated optical and physical designs. In regard to optics, an improved layout contains one XLD element and five LD elements to suppress color fringing and chromatic aberrations for notable clarity and color accuracy, and both BBAR and eBAND coatings have been applied to reduce flare and ghosting.

Complementing the optical assets, this 70-200mm f/2.8 also features an advanced Vibration Compensation (VC) system that compensates for up to five stops of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. A ring-type Ultrasonic Silent Drive autofocus motor is also featured for responsive and accurate performance, and also affords full-time manual focus override for fine-tuned control. Additionally, the lens is also dust- and moisture-resistant for working in trying environmental conditions, and it is paired with a rotating, removable tripod foot with an Arca-type compatible base for seamless shooting atop a tripod or monopod.
